CSR
Long-term and multi-pronged CSR activities are a very important part of our company’s strategy. For many years we have been implementing good practices in this field, combining core business with environmental protection. Care for the natural environment takes the form of meticulously thought-out and planned initiatives in various areas.
Our CSR activities take advantage of well-established best practices. One of the examples of such activities is the implementation of the Ecomanagement and Audit System in 2012 as the first IT company in Poland. At AB S.A. we create and implement our own documents, such as the Environmental Policy, which regulate the daily functioning of the company in the context of concern for the environment. Being a leader in the industry, for many years now, in addition to pure business development, we have been putting great emphasis on reducing our impact on the environment to the greatest possible extent.
We invariably take care of the environment, which is reflected in the implemented social campaigns, among other things. We also convince our employees to join our efforts aimed at helping the environment and society. Many of the initiatives are their original ideas, which get implemented.
At AB S.A., we focus in particular on good employment conditions, providing employees with great opportunities for development through a wide range of training courses, including soft skills and industry competencies. The company runs competitions for creative employees, we also encourage sports activities. Our care for our staff is reflected in numerous distinctions and certificates granted to AB S.A.
For years now, we have been actively helping and supporting those in need by getting involved in campaigns such as the “Noble Box” and “Ciuch w Ruch”. AB also works with a number of social organisations: Anna Dymna’s Foundation “Mimo Wszystko”, “Mam Marzenie” Foundation, Dziecięca Fantazja Foundation, Children’s Home in Bierutowo, Family Children’s Homes in Wrocław and Wrocław Hospice for Children.
AB S.A. team willingly supports dedicated sports initiatives. Our athletes cover kilometers in marathons and runs, in which all income is intended to help those in need.
AB’s involvement in numbers:
• we have already fulfilled the dreams of 17 children;
• we helped 36 families in difficult financial situation;
• together with other companies we managed to collect 125,576 kg of clothes.
