Microsoft awards AB S.A
During this year’s 2018 Microsoft Partner Strategy Conference, Microsoft distinguished the best partner companies. AB S.A. was the winner in the “Distributor: Software and Device Sales” category.
The distinction for the best sales performance among Polish distributors was received by Zbigniew Mądry, Member of the Management Board, COO of AB S.A. The most important criteria for awarding this distinction are the highest license sales among distributors, the highest number of active Microsoft Partners and proactive acquisition of new accounts, as well as carrying out intensive efforts to support partners in the Cloud area of (with own Competence Centre). In addition, the Wrocław-based distributor achieved the highest sales figures for FPP/OEM products and devices with Windows Pro operating system on the commercial market.
“The main theme of this year’s conference is “Cloud – YES. Not „IF”, but „HOW”. As AB S.A, we may say that not only do we know the answer to that question, but we also successfully implement the strategy of using the potential and possibilities of cloud technology as a determining factor in the digital transformation of customers. We have extensive competencies in cloud services, and we have been strengthening our dominant position on the distribution market in the new business of providing services in the subscription-based model. A good example of this was the business success of our commitment to the „Generate Leads” campaign, as a result of which we sold thousands of Cloud licenses,”– said Zbigniew Mądry, Member of the Management Board and COO of AB S.A.
During the 2018 Microsoft Partner Strategy Conference, which took place on the 9th and 10th of October in Łódź, more than 500 representatives of Microsoft Partners learned more about the main strategic directions of cooperation between the company and the ecosystem of partner companies on the Polish market. The strategy is based on cloud computing, which serves as the foundation for creating partner solutions, an opportunity for the development of Polish IP and the basis for the transformation of companies and institutions. The event was also an opportunity for the official launch of the Factory of the Future – a vision of transformation of manufacturing and industrial enterprises, based on the Microsoft technology platform and more than 30 partner solutions.
