10th Anniversary AB Innovation Days – A Celebration of Innovation, Knowledge Sharing, and Business Connections

A vibrant business atmosphere, over 500 professionals from the consumer electronics and home appliance industry, and 35 booths featuring products from 50 global brands—that’s how the 10th edition of AB Innovation Days can be summed up. The event, organized by AB S.A., the largest distributor of IT and modern technologies in the CEE region, was a unique opportunity for discovering new products, exchanging knowledge, and fostering mutual inspiration.
One of Poland’s Leading Trade Events for the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Industry
AB Innovation Days has long been one of the largest and most important events in Poland’s RTV/AGD distribution sector. It provides a dynamic space for networking and collaboration between top manufacturers, retailers, and AB’s category experts. The event promotes industry dialogue, exploration of development directions, and addressing key challenges. It is also a vital platform for building and strengthening business relationships, encouraging new partnerships, and reinforcing existing ones.

Knowledge Sharing and Market Insights
Following the official opening by Zbigniew Mądry, COO and Vice President of the AB Group, and Krzysztof Sumara, Business Development Manager responsible for the RTV/AGD category at AB S.A., industry experts delivered presentations on the latest trends in consumer electronics and appliances. Leading manufacturers such as Amica, Beko, Bosch, Gorenje, and Philips (TV & Sound) showcased their newest products and strategic developments.
A keynote on market trends and challenges was delivered by Wojciech Konecki, President of the Board at APPLiA Poland – Household Appliances Employers’ Association, offering valuable insights into the industry’s evolution.
Meeting of the KAKTO Retail Network
The event was attended by many members of the KAKTO franchise network, coordinated by AB S.A. Retailers and store owners from across the 322 KAKTO locations in Poland participated in a dedicated session, where AB S.A. presented its strategy for developing the RTV/AGD category and outlined the support it offers for both offline and online sales. KAKTO participants also took part in a training session focused on using social media in daily retail operations.
– The KAKTO network now consists of 322 stores across Poland and continues to grow. It supports local businesses in smaller cities that decide to partner under this brand – explained Krzysztof Sumara, Business Development Manager at AB S.A. – We support stores with marketing efforts—building brand awareness via social media and traditional promotional leaflets, co-organizing loyalty programs, and providing knowledge through webinars and more. Our goal is to help franchisees grow and succeed.
Networking and New Product Highlights
Manufacturer booths were bustling with activity and interest. Conversations centered around new product launches, trade show deals, partnership opportunities, and progress. Many exhibitors and participants engaged in the event’s trade fair game, which added an element of friendly competition and sparked further interactions.
Live Demonstrations and Culinary Experiences
The event featured live product demos and cooking sessions, allowing attendees to experience new devices in action. Brand ambassadors and professional chefs wowed participants with their culinary skills, preparing appetizers, desserts, and dishes live. This immersive approach allowed guests to experience the appliances firsthand while enjoying the inviting aromas from the exhibition floor.
