AB S.A., the biggest distributor of IT, household appliances & audio/video devices and consumer electronics in Central & Eastern Europe, has extended its distribution agreement with Microsoft with the Xbox product category.

The signed agreement will allow AB S.A. to provide access to the full assortment of consoles, games and accessories from the Xbox One family to its partners. Devices to be offered by AB S.A. belong to the category of home entertainment platforms, where games, entertainment and television are available in one place.

The latest available console model from Microsoft is Xbox One S, which allows users to play Blu-ray 4K UHD discs and show 4K films from popular VOD services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. The console supports also High Dynamic Range technologies, offering richer and more vivid colours in games. Microsoft’s console features also HDMI 2.0 In and Out to connect a TV decoder to the console.  Xbox One S has a new white casing, which is adjusted to standard audio/video devices in terms of size (it is 40% smaller than the previous version) and allows the console to be positioned vertically. Touch buttons have been replaced with physical ones, the USB side port and the controller synchronisation button have been moved to the front part of the casing, and the external power supply has been abandoned in favour of an integrated power supply.
