The 14th edition of the AB Integration Academy – the annual meeting of the largest companies in the enterprise sector – gathered nearly 200 representatives of integrators and producers from all over Poland. The event was organised by AB S.A. – the largest IT distributor in Poland.

This year’s event, the theme of which was “zABezpieczymy Twój biznes” (“we will secure your business”), was filled with interesting lectures, engaging workshops with the use of demo equipment and an expert zone. This year, for the first time in the event’s history, the Academy had a new formula – participants could choose between two parallel thematic blocks of lectures, concerning business and technical issues.

For years, the Integration Academy has been gathering leading companies from the enterprise sector in Poland. During the event, producers presented their latest solutions and products as well as plans for the future. Participants could listen to lectures and presentations of suppliers such as APC by Schneider Electric, Dell EMC, Dicota, HP Inc, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, Sophos, Synology and TP Link. In addition, experts of the AB Competence Centre, a training centre offering courses in concerning the latest IT technologies and competencies offered their extensive knowledge and experience to the integrators in the enterprise market in the “Ask the Experts” zone.

The official part was concluded with an inspiring lecture by one of the best companies dealing with IT security in Poland – niebezpiecznik.pl. The lecture was given by Jakub Mrugalski, Security Awareness training expert dedicated to non-technical office workers, who use computers and the Internet in their line of work, and a coach conducting technical training courses concerning attacking and securing web applications. The intensive day culminated with an informal conclusion – the performance of Mariusz Kałamaga, one of the most famous representatives of the Polish cabaret scene, who entertained the guests and made them cry of laughter.
