AB Group, the leading distributor of IT solutions, household appliances and consumer electronics in Central and Eastern Europe came in 36th on the List of 500 – an annual ranking of leading Polish companies prepared by Rzeczpospolita. At the same time, the company took first place in the IT company ranking.

In the 19th ranking of the largest Polish companies, AB S.A. advanced by two places.

“We managed to achieve a leading position in the IT industry in the List of 500 ranking, despite the difficulties. As a representative of the distribution segment, we managed to achieve the highest revenue with the growth rate of almost 15% – the highest among IT companies, hardware manufacturers and gaming industry. Moreover, we are generating solid profits and setting the course of development for the distribution industry. I always emphasise that this is a result of our long-term development strategy, with safety and caution being parts of our DNA. We are also developing new and promising product and service categories, such as e-commerce or cloud-based services, which characterise the modern distribution world”, said Andrzej Przybyło, Chairman of the Board of AB S.A.

In 2016, AB Group achieved 8.136 billion PLN revenue from sales, serving over 16 000 trading partners. The entire Group employs over 1000 people. The summary of the leading Polish companies published by Rzeczpospolita paints a comprehensive picture of the Polish economy on the basis of company results.
