AB S.A. has received the prestigious Silver Medal awarded by EcoVadis, the world’s largest independent rating agency that evaluates companies in terms of sustainability and social responsibility.

The company’s continued work towards a more sustainable business has again been recognized by EcoVadis. According to the latest ranking, AB is in the top 9% of companies in its sector evaluated by EcoVadis. The result is all the more pleasing because the company has improved on its 2021 rating, when it won the Bronze Medal.

Sustainability and social responsibility are integral parts of AB S.A.’s operations, so we are very pleased with the assessment of the results we have achieved and with the award. What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is an international analytics company that brings together more than 100,000 companies from around the world.  It audits and evaluates ethical and environmental business practices of companies. It assesses four areas of a company’s operations: social, ethical, environmental, and sustainable supply chain.

Companies that earn the certificate – the EcoVadis medal – also receive an evaluation report that contains information on their performance and suggestions on how they can improve their practices.
